Covid-19: Sabah’s daily cases further drops to 40 on April 27

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s daily Covid-19 cases dropped to 40 on Wednesday (April 27), the lowest on record since March 29, 2021.

State Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the reduction of 11 cases compared to 51 the day before signalled that the situation was improving in general.

“Keningau became the only district with double-digits at 10 cases, where nine infections involved detainees.

“Kota Kinabalu, which recorded double-digit infections the day before, registered only six new cases.

“There were no new infections (zero cases) in 13 out of the 27 districts statewide within the last 24 hours,” he said.
