Covid-19 Deaths (Feb 15): 24 Reported Fatalities, Total at 32,149

COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported a total of 24 new Covid-19 fatalities yesterday (Feb 14), bringing the cumulative death toll to 32,149.

The daily reported deaths have been above 10 for 4 consecutive days.

Malaysia has the highest number of deaths per capita in the Asean and East Asian regions with 972 deaths per one million population.

The deaths were reported in Sabah (5), Johor (5), Selangor (4), Kedah (3), Kelantan (2), Negeri Sembilan (2), Terengganu (2), and Perak (1).

No new deaths were reported in Sarawak, Penang, Perlis, Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan.

To date, 546 Covid-19 deaths have been reported this month.

As of yesterday, there were 168,447 active Covid-19 cases.

The Health Ministry uploads the latest details of the Covid-19 pandemic after midnight on Github as part of its open data initiative.
