SEREMBAN: Students in Negeri Sembilan categorised as close contacts and ordered to undergo quarantine in school will not be allowed to return to their hometown during the Chinese New Year holiday next week, menteri besar Aminuddin Harun said.

He added that Form Five students living in hostels were also not encouraged to return to their hometown during the period, Bernama reported.

“We hope parents will give their cooperation. We want to ensure that these children are healthy to sit for the SPM exam which will be held soon,” he told reporters after chairing the state Covid-19 special security committee meeting here today.
