Covid-19: Malaysia Records 17,150 New Cases, Selangor Still Tops the List with 6,326

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 17,150 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (Aug 1), bringing the cumulative number of infections in the country to 1,130,422 cases.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah (pic) said the Klang Valley still accounted for the most number of cases with Selangor recording 6,326 new cases and Kuala Lumpur with 2,086 cases.
Three other states recorded four-digit figures with Kedah reporting 1,511 new cases, Johor (1,045) and Sabah (1,002).
Only Labuan had new cases in the single digits with five new Covid-19 infections.
