Free Covid-19 Screening At City Hall’s Pprs

PETALING JAYA: City Hall (DBKL) has announced a free Covid-19 screening programme for residents living in DBKL’s public housing (PA) and people’s housing projects (PPRs) starting on Saturday.

In a Facebook post, it said the antigen rapid test kit would be used to screen 300 residents every day.

“Residents in the affected areas are advised to arrive early to avoid congestion,” it said.

DBKL also said this screening would be voluntary for those aged two years and above, adding that children would need to be accompanied by their caregivers.

Among the areas where these tests will be available are PA Seri Sabah 3A Cheras (June 5 to June 12), PA Seri Sabah 3B Cheras (June 5 to June 14), PA Seri Pulau Pinang Cheras (June 5 to June 10) and PA Seri Kota Bandar Tun Razak (June 5 to June 16).

DBKL said that the programme would be expanded to other areas in stages.

“This programme is in collaboration with the federal territories ministry and Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan to help curb the spread of Covid-19,” it said.
