Health DG Wishes Assistant Medical Officers Day to Frontliners and All Related Healthcare Workers

KUALA LUMPUR: Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah expressed his appreciation to all assistant medical officers serving in various health sectors in Malaysia.

“As one of the leading health professions in the country, the role of assistant medical officer is very important to ensure the public’s health is taken care of and the people receive the best services.

“Hopefully, this group can continue to play an important role and work together as a team with other medical professionals, especially in curbing the Covid-19 epidemic in the country,” he said.

Dr Noor Hisham said this in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Assistant Medical Officers Day, which falls on March 10.

The country will be celebrating the special day with the theme, “Assistant Medical Officers Together to Fight Covid-19.”
