KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 5): Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said today Malaysia’s healthcare services have the capacity to triumph over the Covid-19 pandemic and that the government will support frontliners in the effort to curb the outbreak.

Tengku Zafrul said via Twitter today that he had indicated this in a CNBC interview this morning, during which he also shared that the government’s efforts in stimulating the economy are continuous and that policymakers are focused on protecting lives and livelihoods.

“Interview with CNBC this morning to discuss current issues including Covid-19 containment efforts, stimulating the economy and attracting investors. I shared that the government’s efforts in stimulating the economy are continuous and we are focused on protecting lives and livelihoods.
