SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 301 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, raising its tally of infections to 54,555.
According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), four of the cases are in the community, four are imported, while the remainder are foreign workers residing in dormitories.
In its full data released late on Wednesday, Singapore classified 729 of its cases as imported, 2,185 as community transmissions, and 51,340 as dorm residents.
A total of 47,768 patients have fully recovered from the infection and were discharged from hospitals or community care facilities here.
Meanwhile, there are 126 confirmed cases still in hospital.
Of these, most are stable or improving, and one is in critical condition in intensive care.
Meanwhile, 6,333 cases who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for Covid-19, are isolated and cared for at community facilities.
To date, 27 people have died from complications due to Covid-19 infection in the republic.
